Brass Spider Pin or Brooch
This brass spider pin is handcrafted in the USA (Jersey City, New Jersey!) The spider itself is a brass stamping made from a super-old vintage mold! My guess is that the design is inspired by an orb weaver 🕸, but who knows? I think it looks a little tarantula-like as well.
These spider pins can be worn however you like: as a lapel pin or on a jacket or a bag, etc... But my favorite way to wear my bug & insect pins is above a shirt pocket; it looks like they just popped out of your pocket!
These unisex spider pins make the perfect gift for the bug lover in your life. All of my "bug" brooches also make great gifts for science teachers, gardeners, entomologists or entomology students -- any bug lover that can appreciate the tiny magic of our multi-legged cousins! 💕🐛🐝🦋🐞🦗🐜🕷💕
The pin posts & clutches on this spider brooch lock when pushed together (for a secure hold that clicks when "locked!") and has a spring mechanism that needs to be squeezed open again to remove the pin.
